Tatiana Sheveleva played a pivotal role in the majestic St. Regis Kanai, Riviera Maya, leading the dedicated team responsible for crafting its custom, timeless interior design. This ambitious undertaking aimed to seamlessly blend the iconic luxury of the St. Regis brand with the unique cultural and natural beauty of the Riviera Maya, ensuring an enduring sense of elegance and sophistication.
The scope of work:
Under her visionary leadership, the team meticulously designed the interiors of 124 luxurious guestrooms, encompassing an array of finely appointed suites and the opulent Presidential Suite. Beyond the private sanctuaries, their expertise extended to the grand public spaces, including the welcoming Lobby, the sophisticated Ballroom, and versatile Meeting rooms.
The commitment to guest well-being was evident in the serene SPA and the state-of-the-art GYM. A diverse culinary and social landscape was also brought to life, featuring the distinctive TORO restaurant, the vibrant Beach Club, the inviting CHAYA restaurant, the elegant Riviera Restaurant, the quintessential St. Regis Bar, the exclusive Jack's Club, the refined The Library/Tea Lounge, and the charming PIK NIK.
Finally, the team also contributed their design prowess to 12 exclusive branded residences, offering an unparalleled level of luxury living. Tatiana Sheveleva's leadership ensured that every corner of the St. Regis Kanai, Riviera Maya, resonated with bespoke elegance and a timeless allure, crafting an unforgettable experience for discerning guests and residents.
The St. Regis Kanai is part of the Kanai development, a luxury resort complex designed with a strong emphasis on preserving the natural environment. This particular area is known for its pristine mangroves, lush jungle, and untouched beaches.
Unlike some of the more densely developed areas of the Riviera Maya, Kanai offers a sense of remote luxury. Guests can enjoy pristine white sand beaches and the mesmerizing turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea in a more private setting.
The St. Regis Kanai is renowned for its striking circular "nest-like" design, which appears to float above the mangroves. This architectural marvel is directly influenced by and integrated into its unique natural location.
