CHAPI Design Transforms Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection’s Beach House with Mediterranean Inspirations
CHAPI Design, renowned for its innovative approach to hospitality spaces, recently unveiled the interior design for the Beach House at the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection, ILMA, a luxury retreat that captures the essence of the Mediterranean.
Drawing inspiration from the region’s breathtaking landscapes, the design team wove a palette of soft blues, crisp whites, and sun-kissed neutrals throughout the space, echoing the azure seas, azure skies, and golden coasts of Southern Europe. Natural materials such as wood, smooth stone, and linen-textured fabrics further ground the interiors in the elegance of coastal Mediterranean villages, while pops of terracotta and olive-green accents evoke the vibrant energy of local markets and landscapes.
Open, airy layouts and windows blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, inviting the gentle sea breeze and panoramic ocean views to become integral to the guest experience.
Handcrafted ceramic tiles, reminiscent of Greek and Turkish seafaring motifs, and curated artwork inspired by traditional Mediterranean seascapes add cultural depth and local authenticity. The result is a sanctuary that balances effortless luxury with a profound connection to nature, offering visitors a tranquil escape that mirrors the timeless charm of the coastal Mediterranean.
Through this project, CHAPI Design has masterfully transformed the Beach House into a haven where design and environment harmonize, embodying the Ritz Carlton brand’s commitment to immersive, unforgettable guest experiences.
